End of day 2.
This time I elected for something a little more... decent... in my hotel selection. For $10 more I have a room that is twice the size, and has either no mystery stains, or mystery stains so well hidden I have not found them yet (not that I'm looking). Their wireless high speed Internet works (Obviously), but I wouldn't exactly call it high-speed.

I don't know if it's intentional, but you haven't said where you are traveling. I assume you are in MN somewhere given the Machine Shed and weather references. If you plan on making it to northern MN and only have am/fm radio to work with I would suggest looking up 91.7 fm or kaxe.org (they also audio stream off their website).

Yes, the lack of details is intentional. I'm sure you can figure out pretty much everything about this trip if you wanted, but I'm really just doing this for fun, so the details aren't important.
As for the radio recommendation, I looked at their website and it looks great. Mostly though I've just been scanning around the radio, and when the road really starts to wear down on me I start listening to Talk Radio (Gives me a chance to yell at the radio!)
I've stumbled across a few interesting stations, just today when I managed to get lost, I found a spot where I was only able to get signal from ONE FM station, a classic rock station that played music for 30 minute blocks at a time...
